Who This Works For

Intentional Calm supports people who are ready to feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to themselves.

This work is for people who may look like they are holding it all together on the outside, but inside they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, scattered, emotionally drained, or disconnected from their own needs.

While many of my clients are women navigating the stress and transitions of midlife, I also work with men, professionals, children, teens, parents, and families when the support is the right fit.

The work is always personalized, grounded, and designed to meet you where you are.

Women Carrying Too Much

Many women come to Intentional Calm because they are tired of being the strong one all the time.

They may be caring for aging parents, supporting children, managing relationships, navigating career demands, moving through loss or change, or quietly wondering, “When do I get to breathe?”

Often, they are not falling apart. They are functioning. They are showing up. They are doing what needs to be done.

But underneath the surface, they may feel stretched thin, emotionally overloaded, resentful, anxious, depleted, or disconnected from the woman they used to be.

This work gives women a safe, supportive space to be honest about what they are carrying.

Through Reiki, holistic support, and the Intentional Calm Method™, we begin calming the nervous system, softening the overwhelm, reconnecting with the self, and creating practical next steps for a steadier way forward.

You do not have to keep holding everything alone.

Men, Professionals, and Business Owners

Men often come to Intentional Calm for a different kind of support.

They may not want to talk through every detail of what they are carrying, but they know they need to unwind, reset, and feel more grounded.

Many men are used to providing, proving, deciding, leading, and staying strong. Over time, that constant pressure can create stress, tension, disconnection, and a hard outer shell that makes it difficult to fully relax or receive support.

Reiki and energy balancing can be especially helpful for men, professionals, and business owners who carry a lot of responsibility or make high-pressure decisions.

These sessions offer quiet support, grounding, relaxation, and energetic balance without pressure to over-explain.

Some clients come for maintenance Reiki. Others come before a major decision, during a stressful season, or when they simply need space to breathe and reset.

Support does not always have to begin with a long conversation. Sometimes it begins by giving the body and nervous system permission to settle.

Children, Teens, and Families

I sometimes work with children and teens, but always thoughtfully and appropriately.

When a parent reaches out about a child or teen, I prefer to begin by meeting with the parent and child together. This allows me to better understand what kind of support is being requested, what the child is experiencing, and whether Intentional Calm is the right fit.

Some children and teens may benefit from gentle calming tools, grounding practices, breathing exercises, Reiki, emotional regulation support, or simple ways to feel more settled in their body.

This work can be supportive for children who feel sensitive, overwhelmed, restless, emotionally reactive, or in need of a calming space.

However, I am very clear about scope. If a child or teen is struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, behavioral concerns, or symptoms that require clinical care, I will always recommend working with the appropriate licensed medical or mental health professional.

The goal is always to support the child with care, honesty, and integrity.

A Supportive Starting Point

Many new clients begin with a series of Reiki sessions to help the body relax, settle, and rebalance.

Often, I recommend starting with three Reiki sessions. This gives the body and energy system time to soften, reset, and begin responding to support.

Many clients can feel the difference after this initial series. They may feel calmer, clearer, lighter, more grounded, or more connected to themselves.

From there, we may move into virtual coaching through the Intentional Calm Method™, using the five pillars:

State — calming and regulating your nervous system
Story — noticing the inner narratives that may be keeping you stuck
Strategy — choosing the next supportive step
Systems — creating routines and structures that support real life
Spirit — reconnecting with meaning, intuition, and what matters most

This allows us to support both the body and the mind — calming the chaos first, then creating a steadier way forward.

This Work May Be Right for You If…

You feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or emotionally drained.

You are always taking care of everyone else and rarely feel supported yourself.

You are navigating a life transition, loss, caregiving season, career stress, or identity shift.

You feel disconnected from your body, your intuition, your peace, or your sense of direction.

You are ready for support that feels calm, grounded, compassionate, and practical.

You want tools that help you return to yourself in real life — not just when everything is quiet and easy.

This Work Is Not About Perfection

Intentional Calm is not about becoming perfectly calm, perfectly balanced, or perfectly healed.

It is about learning how to return to yourself.

Again and again.

With more awareness.
More steadiness.
More compassion.
More choice.

This work is about calming the chaos within, one intentional step at a time.

Because calm is not a luxury. It is a lifeline.
