Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between coaching and healing sessions?

Coaching focuses on clarity, mindset, habits, boundaries, routines, and practical next steps that support your real life.

Healing sessions focus more on nervous system support, emotional reset, energetic balance, relaxation, and helping you feel calmer and more centered.

Some clients choose one path. Others benefit from a blend of both.

Do I need to know exactly what I need before reaching out?

Not at all. That is exactly why I offer a complimentary consult.

We can talk through what you are navigating, what kind of support you are looking for, and whether coaching, Reiki, holistic healing, or a blended approach would serve you best.

Do you offer virtual support?

Yes. Many coaching and support services are available virtually by phone or Zoom.

In-person Reiki and healing sessions are also available locally.

Who do you work with?

I work primarily with women navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, caregiving, and the desire to live with more intention and steadiness.

Many of my clients are women in midlife who are carrying a lot — personally, professionally, emotionally, or energetically — and are ready for a calmer, more supported way forward.

I also work with men, professionals, business owners, children, teens, and families when the support is the right fit. Some clients come for deeper coaching and emotional support, while others come for Reiki, grounding, energetic balance, nervous system support, or maintenance sessions.

Do you work with men?

Yes. While many of my clients are women, I also work with men who are looking for calm, grounding, stress relief, energetic balance, or quiet support.

Some men may not want to talk through every detail of what they are carrying, and that is okay. Reiki and energy balancing can offer a supportive space to relax, reset, and feel more grounded without pressure to over-explain.

I have worked with professionals, business owners, and men carrying a lot of responsibility who appreciate having a place to unwind, rebalance, and reconnect with themselves.

Do you work with children or teens?

Sometimes, when the support is appropriate.

When a parent reaches out about a child or teen, I prefer to begin by meeting with the parent and child together. This helps me better understand what kind of support is being requested and whether my services are the right fit.

Some children and teens may benefit from calming tools, grounding practices, breathing exercises, Reiki, or gentle emotional regulation support.

If a child or teen is struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or symptoms that require clinical care, I will always recommend working with the appropriate licensed medical or mental health professional.

What if I’m curious about Reiki but new to energy work?

That is completely okay. You do not need prior experience with Reiki or energy work.

I meet clients where they are and explain the process in a grounded, supportive way. Reiki sessions are gentle, relaxing, and designed to help support calm, balance, and overall well-being.

What happens during a Reiki session?

During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed and rest comfortably while gentle energy work is offered.

Many clients experience a deep sense of relaxation, warmth, calm, emotional release, or quiet stillness. Each person’s experience is unique.

Reiki is not about forcing anything. It is about creating space for the body, mind, and energy system to soften, settle, and rebalance.

Where is the best place to begin?

The best place to begin is with a complimentary consult.

This gives us a chance to talk about what you are experiencing, what you are hoping for, and what type of support may be most helpful.

Many new clients begin with a series of Reiki sessions to help the body relax, settle, and rebalance. From there, we may move into virtual coaching through the Intentional Calm Method™, using the five pillars of State, Story, Strategy, Systems, and Spirit.

Do I have to choose between Reiki and coaching?

No. You do not have to choose one or the other.

Some clients come only for Reiki. Some come only for coaching. Others benefit from a blended approach that supports both the body and the mind.

For many clients, Reiki helps create a calmer foundation. Coaching then helps them understand what they are carrying, shift patterns, create supportive systems, and move forward with more clarity and intention.

What is the Intentional Calm Method™?

The Intentional Calm Method™ is my whole-person framework for helping clients calm the chaos and move forward with more clarity, steadiness, and self-trust.

It is built around five pillars:

State — calming and regulating your nervous system
Story — noticing the inner narratives that may be keeping you stuck
Strategy — choosing the next supportive step
Systems — creating routines and structures that support real life
Spirit — reconnecting with meaning, intuition, and what matters most

This work is not about becoming perfectly calm. It is about learning how to return to yourself again and again.

Is this therapy?

No. My work is not therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment.

Coaching and holistic healing sessions can be supportive for stress, overwhelm, self-reflection, emotional balance, nervous system support, and personal growth, but they do not replace care from a licensed medical or mental health professional.

If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, a mental health crisis, or symptoms that require clinical support, I encourage you to work with the appropriate licensed professional.

Do you offer workshops or speaking?

Yes. I offer workshops, classes, and group experiences for organizations, community groups, women’s circles, professional groups, and wellness events.

Topics may include stress management, nervous system support, Reiki, journaling, energy awareness, intentional living, work-life harmony, caregiver burnout, and the Intentional Calm Method™.
